Krista's Haircut

TAKE THAT BLOG PICTURE UPLOADER!!!!!!

These pictures are uploaded in the correct order. Shortly after Seamus was born, I got the idea to grow out my hair and donate to Locks of Love. A friend of mine had mentioned that she was doing it and when I asked her about it, I found out that you have to be able to donate 10in or more. When I measured my hair, I already had that amount and it was then just about how much hair I wanted to have left over after I cut off the 10in.

One Saturday morning, after some DCF tests that I had to take I went to Great Clips to get my hair cut. I found out from that same friend that Great Clips will cut your hair for free and send it away for you, if you decide to donate it. And this sounded like a great deal to me. :)
Here is my hair pre-cut. The lady told me that my hair was really healthy, probably because I only put spray gel in it and don't often straighten or curl it. This, to me, interprets to: I am super lazy and do nothing other than that which I must with my hair and consequently, it is healthy. How exciting.
Pony tail, pre cut. I think it's creepy looking.

Then again, this (suggested by the lady cutting my hair) is even more creepy looking. There's the ten inches cut off. In my hand.

And this is after she cleaned up the cut. When I got home, Stephen was actually disappointed that it wasn't shorter. I was relieved. I dont' like looking like a cottonball, which is what I would look like with shorter hair. People who have known me for a long time can certainly attest to that.
I do not super love having short hair, but it will grow. I do SUPER love that it takes about fifteen to twenty minutes less time to deal with my hair in the morning. That is nice. The Gyrene Gala is next weekend, at which time I will have to figure something out to do with my hair. That will be interesting.
(P.S. Do I look like a walking ad for Great Clips or what?)
